He got restored to his proper body in the GAMMA FLIGHT miniseries, and later bonded to Genis-Vell again in the CAPTAIN MARVEL: GENIS-VELL miniseries.

Its canon, although I do wonder how/if the developments there with Marlo will factor into the current THANOS series. It feels like that might get overlooked, unfortunately.

With Genis' involvement in the current CAPTAIN MARVEL book hopefully we'll check in with Rick there at some point. Assuming they didn't get un-bonded again at some point after that mini, Genis' current status quo in Carol's book will provide some problems for Rick.

Back in the late 80s-early 90s, there was a New York DA, Blake Tower I think, that appeared in a lot of places.

Once Nick Fury's own title folded, he really became a supporting character in a number of titles, although most commonly associated with Captain America and Iron Man. Jasper Sitwell moved from AoS to Iron Man for a while when Sternako pretty much cleaned Nick's whole house.

When not wearing his Stingray gear, Walt Newell's been a frequent supporting character for the Avengers as well as Sub-Mariner.

Given that Marvel has always been so NYC-centric, it's a bit surprising there isn't a much longer list. You'd think a small number of cops, doctors, fire-fighters and EMT's would turn up in a wide range of books.

Those don't tend to be named characters.

Madelyn Pryor was a supporting character in the X-Man series. Not sure if that counts since it turned out to be an alternate reality Pryor...also probably the only incest storyline in Marvel 616.

I assume you're referring to the thing about cops, etc. Agreed. However, it would make sense that there'd be police or emergency response units dedicated to super-messes, similar to DC's Special Crimes office of the Metropolis PD, and that a supporting character might regularly appear as a source of information or annoyance to several characters.

Alas, that takes the kind of concerted world-building beyond the super-suits that Marvel doesn't seem to do any more.

Code Blue, but they haven't really been seen in years. And rarely beyond the Thor strips.

That's a shame. Given the growing superpowered chaos and catastrophes in the Marvel Universe . . . hell, I'd take them over the "Capekillers" established by "Mayor Fisk" through his cooptation of the Thunderbolts name.

I was hoping he'd keep the GAMMA flying brick powers he had in that run. Aw well.

For a while Elektra and Stick were supporting characters in Wolverine back during his no-nose phase.

Oh yeah, when she kept getting accused of sleeping with Juggernaut. Turns out that AU version of her did it.
