Supporting Cast Members that heroes share. Can you think of any?

I'm trying to come up with supporting cast members that differet superheros seem to share. For example, Rick Jones was both a major cast member of the Hulk, Captain America, and Captain Marvel. Another example was that Daily Planet staff was the original supporting of Carol's first Ms, Marvel title. Mary Jane was once working for Tony Stark at some capacity.

Anything else come to mind?

Pepper Potts, a former Iron Man romantic interest, ended up being woman-in-the-chair for a group called The Order, but they didn't even last a dozen issues, so not sure they really count.

I would count that. Guys like Nick Fury and Maria Hill who play mportat supporting roles in multiple titles would also fit the bill as far as I am concerned

Speaking of Daredevil, Ben Urich works for The Daily Bugle and as such has been a supporting character for both Matt Murdock and Peter Parker, even being targeted by both Wilson Fisk and Norman Osborn at separate points for attempting to expose their evil and corruption. He also became a supporting cast member for Spider-Woman/Jessica Drew during the Dennis "Hopeless" Hallum run.

Wyatt Wingfoot started out as a supporting cast member in FANTASTIC FOUR but due to his long term relationship with She-Hulk (which has been on again/off again over the years) he has ended up as a supporting character in her solo book sometimes as well.

John Jameson. He started out as a Spider-Man supporting character, but later became a supporting character in both AVENGERS and CAPTAIN AMERICA when he was hired on as part of the Avengers Mansion Support Staff. He later became a supporting character in SHE-HULK when he and Jen became an item (and were briefly married).

Connie Ferrari. She was a CAPTAIN AMERICA love interest for a while, and was later a supporting character in the GREAT LAKES AVENGERS short lived ongoing book.

Marlo Chandler. Was a HULK supporting character and then later became a CAPTAIN MARVEL supporting character after her husband Rick Jones got bonded to Genis.

Victoria Bentley. She was introduced as a supporting character in DR. STRANGE and then ended up becoming a Black Knight supporting character in his first solo miniseries and was linked to him for her remaining appearances until she was killed off.

Bugle, not Planet, lol. Planet is DC, Superman. And MJ and even Peter himself were in Ms. Marvel too, she literally had the entire then-current ASM cast. Claremont took over after a few issues and jettisoned them.

Ben Urich has been supporting cast in X-Men of all places recently, due to his Bugle reporter role. Due to Kamala currently being on the team, Shadowkat, Talon, Synch and Rasputin were supporting cast in Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant.

Jane Foster was originally Thor's love interest, but ended up being supporting cast in Avengers due to her job as a doctor, before becoming a superhero herself.

War Machine is Iron Man's one-time replacement, but he's also Carol's boyfriend and thus appeared often in her book during the last few runs - yet to appear in the current one though. Carol and Spider-Woman Jessica Drew are best friends, so they're often in each other's books.

Dum dum and shield was both in their own stories and godzilla.

Frankin was in both fantastic four and power pack and they were babysitted by avengers jarvis. Kitty pryde befriended the kids also.


Deaths head has guest roles in transformers, dr who, fantastic four, she-hulk and sword.

Planet terry and robota hung around in the drax book for a bit along with pip the troll.

Howard the duck and Beverly would hang out with generation x here and there even joining the spin-off team the daydreamers. In a bit of screwed up canon Beverly went with the team when they teleported but was not seen with them when they landed. oops.

With the omni-presence of Rick Jones as a supporting character in the Marvel Universe, I'm still surprised there hasn't been a MCU lynchpin counterpart yet.

Agatha Harkness was Franklin's nurse in FF, but now she is rather Wanda related.

Hellcat - Patsy Walker first became Hellcat in the Avengers. Was a longtime member of the Defenders. Is a best friend to the She-Hulk & makes recurring appearances. She has had a couple of solo mini series & finally was a love interest to Tony Stark in Iron Man.

Yeah, She-Hulk was a regular in Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat until Civil War II put her out of action. Patsy appeared in the She-Hulk run that ran just before Secret Wars and the Hulk run that starred Jen after CWII. When She-Hulk had to be written out of Patsy's book, she was replaced by Jubilee. Jubes would've later needed writing out too due to the ResurrXion (X-Men Blue/Gold) era Generation X book, but Patsy's book got cancelled at that exact time anyway.

Shuri is normally Black Panther supporting cast, but was used in Ironheart's book written by Eve Ewing (who would later become Black Panther's writer). That same book also used Midnight's Fire and Silhouette from New Warriors.

Spidey bad guy black fox as well as x-men siren was in deadpool at times.

Night nurse and her cast joined dr strange and even is in the live movies. Night nurse 2 was in netflix daredevil series.

Ms marvel spent time hanging out with the x-men till rogue came along and captain marvel 1 lived at avengers mansion for a little bit.

FF in the end of vol 1 had namor as a supporting character as well as ant-man as a member bringing cassie along.

Howard the duck, two gun kid, blonde phantom, death's head and awsome andy had roles in she-hulk over the years.
