They're newbies. Maybe a certain non-mutant teen hero will end up meeting them too - Chicago is Ironheart's home. Funny that Emma's moving from Tony's circle to Riri's!

The "unfortunately for Kate" part seems to be about the fact that she doesn't initially want to have anything to do with these 3 new mutants, yet they clearly need mentoring and "unfortunately for Kate", Emma agrees, i.e. she wants Kitty back in mutant business.

Or at least that's what I got from the blurb.

I'm hoping that's what it means. Or Emma takes a more teacher role while Kate was just aiming for mentoring them. Curious to see how Emma arrives although I wouldn't be surprised for to not be in the first few issues.

The team seems small compared to the others. Maybe we'll see some other younger characters (like the Cuckoos or Catseye) appear a little later once the group gets more active.

I don't think he's shown up since immortal when he left Krakoa after "fighting" Xavier.

It will be interesting to read Eve's voice for Emma.

Carnero is a really good artist especially for a female-centric book like EXM but she's never been one of my personal faves...I'll definitely need to see some dialogue pages before I commit.
