Real touching moment between Emma and spoilers:
Jubilee in today's Dead X-men or rather alternate Emma
    end of spoilers

I thought this was solid issue for Emma in X-Men this week. Duggan is beating a dead horse a bit with reusing nostalgic dialogue but still fun.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

Ha! She's using the Hellfire Knuckles! Though not in the way I thought she was going to.

Aw, I'm not up to date with all the books, including Dead X-Men, but it's good to know her ties with the Gen Xers is being acknowledged somewhere... though I'm not surprised since it's from Steve Foxe.
Speaking of Foxe, I was surprised to see Emma in the upcoming Apocalypse book. I don't think she would care one bit about becoming "Apocalypse's heiress", whatever that means, so I'm expecting either the 12 to be forced to take part in the competition, or Emma (and a few of the other characters) to be there only to prevent someone like Sinister from winning.

Edit: Also, shame that Polaris, Quicksilver and Sabertooth aren't part of the cast. Emma and those 3 were the characters used to power Apocalypse up in X-Men Legends 2. Not official X-Men canon, but it would be a nice nod.

Love the Rihanna 2014 CFDA reference.

I was glad to see that moment TBH. It always annoys that people seem to forget about Emma having relationships/friendships with characters outside the immediate X-Men. People sadly seem to forget that book existed at all.

From what spoilers I've seen on-line...Emma is subtly brutal in FotHox. And I love that for her.

Very good Emma with Stasis today. Good art too. Finally! PS: I also noticed Emma could reach Scott all the way to the Moon... impressive!!

Yeah, great showing for Ems. Her subduing Stasis (and then the classic flask scene!) was great.

Also, from the new era reveals today: "Mutantkind's greatest teachers..."
Professor K and Emma (Professor E?) as a duo again is so satisfying.

Also, if there was something I missed in Krakoa's Emma was her being a teacher. Seems like a promising new era for her.

Agreed about her going back to being a teacher. Going to be disappointed at the apparent lack of interaction with the Cuckoos and Catseye, not that she got to interact with Catseye before.
Concerned about the 'unfortunately for Kate' part.

The "unfortunately for Kate" part seems to be about the fact that she doesn't initially want to have anything to do with these 3 new mutants, yet they clearly need mentoring and "unfortunately for Kate", Emma agrees, i.e. she wants Kitty back in mutant business.

Or at least that's what I got from the blurb.
