I loved everything that's been done in the comics with Emma during the Krakoa era and I've been enjoying her immensely on Iron Man lately. Here's hoping 2024 will be at least just as good for Ms. Frost.

2023 was disappointing IMO, between a Sinister/Storm mini and stuck in Invincible Iron Man. Hopefully Brevoort doesn't revert her back to pre-Krakoa and we actually have everything from DoX-Krakoa retconned away

Me too. In fact, I hope we have a faction of mutants opposed to the council and a faction supporting it. There was brief conversation in the books about a Krakoan democracy. I would like to see that friction played out. Where would Emma sit on that? Pro unelected council or pro-democracy? It would be a cool thing to see.

i made this sort of quack "theory" after seeing the X-Men #33 cover and Emma's new costume, and after reading Fall of the House of X #1, my theory is now being entertained again, and I kinda hope I'm right on it because its a nice role for Emma to have during this time

I don't see the the angel thing at all. Its clearly her signature fur to me. Looks great either way, I just never would think its feathers.

I mean its totally possible that its just like you said just her fur. But when I looked at the full cover, the way the fur was drawn it has some similarities to an angel wing

True but Emma gets a nice moment attacking Thanos. She was dispatched fairly quickly but eh, it’s Thanos. As far as psychic defenses go he’s got probably the best in Marvel. Feels like her first great offensive feat in ages
