When you compare what Hill is setting up and this weak as preview, it's just... Not good. Like Ewing is trying HARD to get people to care about her OC and it just.. doesn't hit

She is probably a combination of both the MCU Shuri and the original pre-movie version: Tech genius but very fierce and aggressive.

She’s likely a pawn for the Dora or a sect of them rebelling/turn traitor. Absolutely hate the idea of T’Challa needing to “learn” from Killmonger. I was hoping that Hill would have T’Challa have big brained chessmaster moves secretly in play but this solicit and the solicit for issue 2 or 3 both sound like T’Challa hasn’t been doing except for the bare minimum with it mentioning Shuri and Okoye begging him to do something.

But I’ll wait. There very well could be a master plan at play here and the Dora and Shuri mess could have messed it up. Plus there are traitors amongst them so he can’t exactly share the plan. I think this Okoye is the former head of the Dora and I wished their designs were different.

If Shuri is really is turning and isn’t taking the throne simply because she thinks that T’Challa was KIA, it would be the most interesting thing to happen with character
