I wonder if they're even going to bother with another 616 solo with Ultimate selling well.

This is good to see regardless of what I feel about the book at the moment.

Or minibosses. If this was dbz, we'd gone thru Vegeta and Nappa, then moving onto the Ginyu force.
It's what makes the fights exciting. It's just like Panthers rage, T'Challa fought mini bosses while preparing for the final showdown with Killmonger. It made the battle excited as there was a build up.

Khonshu and Ra should've made an appearance against T'Challa and had a mini clash, both sides realizing the other is much more dangerous than initially thought, and then this could work towards there being multiple skirmishes which moves to SOME world building as T'Challa is trying to find an edge over khonshu and Ra hence why he is with Erik now.

Hill started his book off with Wakanda calling for war... Yet it has all happened pretty much off screen and right now it doesn't even feel like Wakanda is at war

Well I have seen around people saying that this was the Weakest issue so far and T'Challa is coming off too Cooglerish as well as the setting arms a whole. Some people said they are starting to get bored of all the talking

It was the weakest issue and yet it was still very good.
People like this book it’s a slow burn that’s written well

Well it's not good when people are 3 issues in and are saying they are getting bored and don't like how the title character is being treated

This all will depend on how the upcoming issues turn out.

Issue 3 could just be a weak transition issue, and things will pick up next month or thing's won't, who knows.

The only thing we can do is wait and hope for the best.

Create new villains for the new Ultimate series.
There should be, for example, an African based Jackal villain, that has nothing to do with Miles Warren.

Oooh... M'Baku is gorilla themed... he needs to go full -Lion King and find a buddy who's Hyena themed.

As for gimmicks.... a lion is hard=pressed to bite your arm off... Hyenas... can crack bone much more easily. A guy who can literally bite your arm off... hmm....

    And it's so good.

Cobra Commander is *entertaining*. I actually smiled after reading the latest issue.

Is that too much to ask? To be entertained and enjoy the comic books that we purchase?

I didn't walk away from the latest issue of Cobra Commander complaining about anything.
    Don't complain. Create.

Shockingly, yes. Having "fun" is for (ugh) "popular fiction". Comics are all "literary" now...
