The Eisner Award-winning duo of Tom Taylor and Bruno Redondo reunite to tell Nightwing's greatest story yet. The culmination of Heartless's sabotage on Nightwing reaches its dramatic climax when Nightwing loses his ability to leap, impeding his duties to be the superhero we know and love.

FINALLY Heartless gets off his ass and actually looks to be doing something.

    Took him long enough.

Sucks Redondo's last arc is wasted on Heartless. Not a character I care about at all. I'll miss his art, but he had a lot of nicely drawn issues so I can't really complain too much. With today's comics you can't really expected an artist to do that many issues in a row now outside a select few.

Also sounds like they are doing that vertigo story from Percy that we were originally meant to get before the Ric story happened.

Redondo looks like he's confirming that the May issue represents the start of the last arc of him and Taylor on the book.

I know Taylor's not to everyone's taste, but he's really upped the profile of the character - hopefully the next team can at least maintain that. The kind of flubbed transition DC had after Seeley left, where they were obviously flailing, could undo a lot of that.
Five part arc, so looks like we're getting a relaunch in October.

Dick looks weird with a beard.

Also hard to get enthusiastic about Heartless. Also "Dick can't leap!!!" feels like...I dunno, a little on the nose?

Bruno officially leaving!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

They better put him on another title. Give him a WW spin off title. Or Batgirl.

It really is the end of the run. They are ending with exactly 40 issues, since this is a five issue arc.

So Taylor is done or just the collaboration of Redondo?

I'd be shocked to see them end it with as well as it's doing unless Taylor doesn't want to do any more or without Redondo.

In the interview, only Bruno talks like he is leaving, but the whole thing sounds like it's the end of the run. Who knows, i'm sure Taylor will adress it sooner or later.

Someone noticed that apparently Dick and Haley are older.

Both are leaving. Here is a link to a DC article:

Looks like all of the DC books are getting a shake up besides the main Trinity books (Williamson Superman, Zdarsky Batman, King WW). Waid is leaving WF, perhaps he might take Nightwing alongside Action Comics? Waid always wanted to write Nightwing. He’s basically cleared the deck between stepping away from Shazam and now WF ending.

Adams would be a good fit, I think.
Zdarsky is also possible option, but I don't want that, because I'm allergic to torture porn, and for some reason Chip believes it's the only thing he can write these days.
No sure about Waid, but if he's willing to write main continuity stories, sure, why not.
