I really like this couple so I hope this doesn't go south. It's good seeing things going normally for Damian so want it to last some time.

It's comics, nothing goes smoothly. It's pretty certain she's got hidden motives/isn't being 100% truthful/will be compelled to betry Damian or something along those lines.

Williamson promised and failed to deliver on the return of some of Damian's old friends during the Robin 2021 run. Perhaps we could get them showing up in this series.

I don't think the issue is Zdarsky favoring Tim this time. In the story, you are supposed to feel sympathy for Damian's conflict. Not to mention that Tim has been pretty absent in this arc.

The issue is Zdarsky seems to see Damian as a vulnerable boy, who is pretty obsessed with his father approbation.

How are we suppose to feel sympathy when they are making him stupid. The Damian of present would not fall for Zur. Perhaps entry level pre robin “I thought you’d be taller “ Damian Mabey “forgive me father for I have sinned” Damian but not the one I’m reading in Williamson book.

Honestly, I feel simpathy for Damian in Batman comic (even although I don't think this attitude fits his character).

Anyway, my point is that Zdarsky doesn't seem to be trying to make Damian look bad. I mean, other characters also doubt whether the robot is Bruce or not.
