Been meaning to comment on this. Yeah, the artwork and story have taken interesting directions lately. This is definitely not Captain America punching out Nazis. Instead, he's involved with poetic, ethereal mystical events. These are events where he has a clear shield that can allow him to view demons and monsters. Upcoming solicits talk about Cap finding and getting "six new change agents under the Front Door Cabaret's protection before they can be found by those who want them eradicated.". But you know what? I'm really down for this. We've seen Cap fighting for freedom against the latest fascist group many times. I'm looking for a change. This seems like a good fit. Indeed, JMS is treading into Neil Gaiman territory, but those elements are interesting. Additionally, Cap has gone beyond his traditional parameters in the past. The Dimension Z storyline comes to mind.
