I wish the art was better though. And why is she wearing that god awful mask?

Although not always the prettiest I like how dynamic the art has been and most of the fight scenes have been really fun. Paired with the good writing this story slaps.

I'm in the anti-helmet camp for sure but I like how it's been used in this story to depict her as more menacing.

Right! This and the bad art are what are keeping me from being more excited for Unlimited. Her voice is spot on but comics are a visual medium and this silhouette and colors are just not what I love when it comes to Betsy.

Give us face, hair, beauty and slickness in purple, pink, black and lavender.

That's very promising that the Betsy book is coming sooner rather than later - it could mean it's X-Force/X-Factor/Phoenix but it could just as easily be for another Excalibur that's coming up right after the first wave hits...

As I commented to the artist, this is the sexy and strong woman Betsy should always be.

Amidst discussion about heroes being dressed in costumes linked to personal trauma (see Rachel Summers, Warren Worthington...) and continued debate about Betsy's raiment as Captain Britain, I remembered that Lady Braddock's first Captain Britain uniform was literally the outfit worn by her sadistic alt-timeline universe twin brother who proceeded to assault and attempt to rape fledgeling heroine Betts back in the day. Death by Psychoblasting for him and 616 Brian arrived to find a smoldering corpse of his variant. Elisabeth finds herself wearing a version of her attackers Kaptain Briton costume when she assumes the mantle of the Captain that ill-fated first stint.

One more reason for me to not like her as CB.
