Betsy Braddock: The Focused Totality of Appreciation 2024

Scans have been posted that led to the reason I fell in love with Betsy. I don't have a problem looking foward but I have to actually like the content for that to work and I personally think that she is a much more fascinating character as Psylocke than CB. I also don't like her as a patriot too. We all have our opinions. I'm gonna try to remain optimistic, though.

Yes, that's also a good one. I loved how creative she was with her telepathy back then before it only become about creating psychic knives.

Another favorite issue of mine is UXM Annual 11 when Claremont established Betsy as having an indomitable will akin to Wolverine and Storm. The three strongest characters of the team in terms of willpower and fighting spirit. I guess that could explain the reference to her being "Diet Storm."

I loved her too, but she was Diet Storm as the run went on up until Siege Perilous.

Funny that during the period where Betts wore that armor, the look was missing a sword in order to complete her transformation into what I called "Lady Lancelot", and here we re years later and she's found her sword...

I'm really curious to find out if Brian will show up in the new X-Force at all. Thorne seems to be keen on the Otherworld side of things so it would be good to at least touch base with the extended Braddock family.

I don't take these kinds of dates to heart, though. It's a sliding timeline. I always interpreted Betsy as being slightly older than the O5. Beast even commented on liking her modeling career being.... inspiring to him as a youth in Claremont's X-Treme X-Men.
