He was implied to be dead in End of Spider-Verse, yeah - an arc which introduced a new Earth-616 Spider-Boy who's 100% controlled by Marvel. However, that art is for a reprint of the Amalgam comics, and I'm sure if they actually did new stories in that universe, Pete would still be alive.

Today's MAWS trailer left me very hopeful for clone boys chances in season 3, if they're already bringing in Kara and John Henry this early and Lex's existence is confirmed... I'm just saying.

Kind of wild to think it would be the first adaptation in which Conner and Kara have an actual onscreen interaction, I saw someone point that out a few years ago during the final season of Young Justice where there was all that sepeculation about whether Supergirl was going to show up or not only for her to appear in the very final scene and the series to get cancelled before it could happen.

Supergirl and Steel are in the show now and back in the 90's they to formed another short-lived but notable trio with a certain someone
