Nice one. The problem with this new series isn't the art though, it's all the changes to PG made for no apparent reason other than either the editor or writer wanted them. They accomplish nothing save to diminish the character. There was no pressing need to change her name or personality, and none for her to have another superhero as besties out of nowhere. She'd be better operating mostly as a solo hero.

All she's missing is a loser boyfriend she's too good for but doesn't realize it because of said self loathing, I'm sure DC has their own version of Marvel's Paul they can use.

I just read the solicitation for Power Girl #11, and it seems like PG will be getting a new love interest. Wonder how long this one will last.

Hmm... decided to guess -1.... then spent like five minutes trying to figure out how an actual published work could have a negative number.

Which leads to: it's a retcon that she USED TO be romantically involved with someone we've already seen, but currently ISN'T and that all the scenes showing the romance sub-plot will be flashbacks.

Ah, he was from the first couple issues then seemed to vanish. Don’t know much after that because I ended up dropping the book. I do recall he was hinted at being a bit shady and tried recruiting PG to said shenanigans.
