Enjoyed Power Girl in today's JSA, she feels like her usual self in that book compared to her main series.
“Look, you can’t put the Superman #77s with the #200s. They haven’t even discovered Red Kryptonite yet. And you can’t put the #98s with the #300s, Lori Lemaris hasn’t even been introduced.” — Sam
“Where the hell are you from? Krypton?” — Edgar Frog

Today marks one year since Power Girl changed her name to Paige in Action Comics #1053. Writers Leah Williams and Brittany Holzherr have been the only ones to use the name so far. The character is still referred to as Karen in Justice Society of America and in her other Dawn of Dc appearances she's dressed by her hero 'Power Girl' only. I think this is a good sign that this change won't be permanent, or isn't catching on like intended.
Or one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing at DC. Which is on brand for them, sadly. I don't see the "Paige" thing sticking around either. Sort of like Jon being the foundation for the Legion. My guess is they'll go back to Clark being the original Superboy there. I'm still hoping the JSA book is an out of continuity book, though. Just so they can have more creative freedom then usual.

For me, the biggest mistake was declining to let PAD bring back OG Kara within the context of the Post Crisis continuity. The second biggest is bringing back sorta OG Supergirl AND claiming Powergirl was a pre-Crisis refugee only to not have her on her earth 2 verse. Now she is dangling there like an earlobe
