Oh God I think Hickman is setting up Mayday to help design Peter’s “proper” suit. Her being scared of his black suit seems to be setting up him switching to his red and blue look. I love that she’s the first one to find out Peter is Spider-Man, it’s cute. I bet we get a Superman: For All Seasons esque moment where Peter brags that his daughter helped make his red and blue suit.

Sorry are they doing something in the comics similar to the animated movies? Because I’m not a huge fan of all those Parkers signing up to the methodology of “you gotta let some people die”. I could see him offering a spot but I can’t see her accepting. Mayday is usually even more of an idealist than Peter.
