At least PKJ, Waid and Taylor all being freed up from one of their DC ongoings at the same time is really interesting… Could they get Action Comics, Detective Comics and Justice League between the three of them?

Hope Taylor’s not on Justice League in any case - would much rather he be on something like Aquaman (his name will draw people to that title and make it a sales success).

I think Waid is writing the next event. Here Taylor mentions that he has been working with Williamson and Waid on the Waller plot.

But truly, we’re witnessing an evolution for Amanda Waller that is part of something very big. I’ve been talking to writers like Mark Waid and Josh Williamson about what comes next for Waller, and we’ve all been building to something truly dangerous together for a long time.
Williamson and Taylor obviously have been doing quite a lot of build-up, but Waid hasn't written anything related to Waller yet, so it must be something he is writing in the future. There have been a few hints here and there that the next event is the Waller one that Dawn of DC has been building up to.

Taylor's not getting JL while he's writing Titans in my opinion.

Also Taylor did Beast World and Williamson is doing House of Brainiac. Both already did/will do an event this year, which leaves Waid as the only one who hasn’t written one yet. Hopefully he does a good job if it is him, Lazarus Planet was mid. Guess Waid would be the natural pick to do a Zero Hour sequel (aside from Jurgens) given his creation of Hypertime.

I think there is good chance the next event is a Zero Hour sequel but DC also used the exact same "an event 30 years in the making!" quote for Dark Crisis lol.

If that's the case, maybe the big Waller event will be some sort of crisis/zero hour level story with Scott Snyder's ultimate style DCU spinning out of that.

Guessing this might relate to the possible Gotham City Sirens...or a variant cover.

DC's 2024 event is Absolute Power, by Mark Waid and Dan Mora.

I guess this is why DC advertised a "Trinity of Evil" (Queen Brainiac, Failsafe, Waller).

Waller is a woman and starts with the letter W so obviously a Wonder Woman villain
