Jesus… that looks great. Can’t wait until this gets announced.

I love the feline eyes and face. Although that's close to how Capullo draws most faces, it's especially appropriate for Creed LOL

I kinda see it lol
Oh yeah. Alan Ritchson as Sabretooth and Milo Gibson as Wolverine in the MCU is picture perfect casting IMO!
I could also see Ritchson as Cable too, if they wanted to skew younger for that role and just make him look older and more grizzled so he could play it for a long time.

I was reading some random Wolverine and then doublechecking something on Vol 3 #74, a review informed me that, in that same year (2009), there were two separate comics involving "Wolverine and Spiderman go to a bar to talk."
I liked them both a lot.

Neither are what I'd call happy but the first one is a bit more depressing.
It also came right on the heels of somebody on Reddit making a thread discussing how Logan treats his own children very differently from how he treats the kids he mentors. (It was based on a discussion with Gambit from an older X-23 issue, inquiring as to why Logan treats X differently than Jubilee) Somebody posited it's because Wolverine sees himself - including the parts of himself he hates - in his kids. That first pic seems to confirm that interpretation/theory.

Speaking of Pete+Logan team-ups, there was also Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine (2010).
Plenty of conversations between the two, but only one scene with Logan in a bar & Spidey nowhere in sight...

Found this by brevoort. I think it was posted in 2009. And I agree, I prefer when wolverine's healing factor isn't super OP
Totally agree with everything he wrote there. Not just with regards to Wolverine either, but lots of Marvel characters who have gotten ridiculously over powered over the years. At least from their 80s and 90s power levels.

I think it was said somewhere that he's doing a series, not just one oversized issue. My guess is some sort of Wolverine mini-series to coincide with his 50th anniversary (which is of course this year) and to capitalize on his MCU debut in the 'Deadpool & Wolverine' film coming out in late July. Having said that, we've seen lots of Wolverine focused mini-series as well as some Deadpool + Wolverine team up series. So maybe it's something else. Whatever it is, it would seem to be X-related and Wolverine is for sure involved in it heavily.
