When he was dead we only had an older version of him, and a young version, and Laura and then Gabby so yeah there have definitely been some lean times.

True it always comes done to Quantity over Quality. So is to say Wolverine had a better quality on other media and those comics which have less appearances or issues like Wolverine vs Predator or Hellfire Gala.

I started this year in good fashion I ordered the special two packs Logan vs Sabretooth and Broodverine vs Empress Lliandra figure packs. Waiting for the other two to be up for Pre order.

I got the Logan vs Sabretooth one. The Broodverine and Lilandra figures didn't interest me, but I want that Joe Fixit Hulk vs Patch in their white tuxedos set for sure when it's available for pre-order!

Marvel Database has Logan's first appearance as Incredible Hulk #180 July 1974.

But sometimes different sites will use different criteria, such as full appearance or only appearing in shadows, or even hiding behind the scenes with only a mention of the character's name.

Oooh... I hope it is July, as Deadpool 3 comes out on July 26. Having Hugh Jackman in his 25th year playing Wolverine (he was cast in 1999 and X-men filmed that year, and came out in 2000) and the character's 50th anniversary occur in the same month would be beautiful symmetry IMO.

Not sure it's July. Its is showing October 1974 for The Incredible Hulk #180 on wikipedia. The issue also has the same date on Marvel official website.

Yeah I'm so looking forward to Mr Fixit vs Patch figures.
On the comic front I hope his series gets a good direction after the Sabretooth War.
