Interesting… thanks. That page clearly said “Wolverine” at the top, so he’s either just trying to misdirect or that was a pretty good orchestrated fake out by Marvel and he’s doing something else. I’m betting the former.

Thanks for sharing. Whatever he’s working on, it clearly has Wolverine in it regardless.

Cross-posting from the "Introduce the X-Men to the MCU" thread "Introduce the X-Men to the MCU" thread for relevance...

But surely some advanced cosplay has produced a sample that hits the mark?

Christopher Stanley seems to have knocked it out of the park. More on his Instagram, great stuff.

Though I try not to over examine the conventions of a superhero comic and just embrace them as part of the experience (see my sig), if I had to posit a justification for Logan wearing the signature mask, I'd go with something along the lines of Rorschach from WATCHMEN, where he considers the mask his "real" face or less traumatically like Ted Grant/Wildcat in Geoff Johns' JSA, where he thinks of the cats head hood as just being part of his work uniform, though Ted, being a boxer, is more of a showman than Logan would be. Ironically it took awhile for them to figure out what Logan would look like sans mask when he was brought into the All-New, All-Different generation of X-MEN.

Nice. I like that outfit. Also like the blue highlights in the hair, as the comics (and cartoon) often made his hair look blue or gave it a blue tinge.

If I buy it, most likely I'll take that figure and put an Old Man Logan head on it, as this looks like the type of suit OML might wear if he needed to go stealth.

IIRC Brevoort has favored Aaron quite a number of times. So it wouldn't be suprising

Aaron has been doing quite a number of good minis recently IMO. Punisher then there is Batman too. I also think his Manifest Destiny was pretty good.

As long as we get Aaron that wrote Wolverine: Weapon X and not Aaron that wrote Wolverine and the X-Men. Tbh the first few arcs of WaTXM were good. The circus clown arc just went completely off the rails though.
    You brought back Wolverine

Well up for it - always thought it was bizarre he didn’t get to write the death of Wolverine, as he had put in most of the legwork before that period - I’d be very happy to see him come back with a bat-**** mini series with Capullo as artist. He’d certainly be my preferred choice over Cates
