That was a curious situation. Bryan Q Miller wanted Nightwing to be Stephanie Brown, but he wasn't allowed.

So, he needed to use Barbara, but he wrote her as Stephanie. That's why she is a blue lantern.

I just watched Justice League Crisis On Infinite Earths Part 2. I love Batgirls design, and I was happy her cape is black on the outside, unlike the one preview photo they released that showed her cape to be yellow on the outside.
The annoying thing is once again we hardly see her and she had a couple of lines.

That’s so disappointing!
I’m a huge fan of the brilliant Otto Schmidt- Tomorrowverse character designer and most certainly designer of the female characters, who look like his comic illustrations brought to life- and with Batgirl featured prominently on the dvd box art, I was going to buy a physical copy of this! Guess I’ll wait to watch it on Max

Yeh I found that so weird. Gordon is injured and nothing from Babs at all. Not a mention, nothing.
