Definitely not. Like I said, this was only her moment in the sense that she's never been allowed to be powerful onscreen in the show unless she was Phoenix. This "moment" was making up for the past few decades since the show started with her being wasted.

Her real time is coming. Dark Phoenix has been in pretty much all the opening themes so far. Storm and Magneto were confirmed as omega-level mutants, but Jean hasn't so far. Don't forget who beats Bastion in X-Men: Next Dimension.

Oh I remember that game! Iirc Scott died and then Jean transformed into dark Phoenix

I liked his design but honestly the evergrowing brood of children never interested me. I only cared for Rachel mainly because Claremont wrote her.

At this point, I'm surprised we haven't gotten Kid Stryfe.

That was Jean from the first season. There's no way the Jean we've known since day one was always Maddie.

The Maddie swap probably occurred in-between the original show and '97 or at earliest, during the S4 finale. Which means Jean would only have been swapped out for S5.

Jean and Maddie weren't even sure who was Phoenix. This doubt it's even mentioned in this last episode.

Curiously, a retcon making Jean to be a clone in Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Saga would be faithful to the comics.

They may not have been sure but the Phoenix Force most definitely would have. It doesnt make sense for the PF to have been duped by some Sinister clone. Really the only time for the switch to have worked would it to have occurred after the second wedding when Sinister kidnapped Jean in season 4. Im with whitecrown on there. Jean was barely in season 5 so it wouldnt mess with too much of the OG series if they go that route

Of course he exists. Strangely, I have a soft spot for Stryfe. His backstory of being raised as Apocalypse's spoiled heir only to be thrown away when he couldn't function as a vessel felt sympathetic.

Waiting for these moments in the show. I also liked how in MUA2, if you spoke to Cable at the Anti-Registration base with Jean, you'd get a special conversation.
