I think she can and want her to do BOTH. I want her to remain dedicated to the mutants and the X-Men–her family—and to go on periodic cosmic sojourns, exhibiting her highest potential, for various metaphysical reasons. If I could take Alan Moore's run on Swamp-Thing and make it a template for a multi-year arc for Jean/Phoenix, that's what I would do.

Been lurking around the net trying to see if there are any clues/trails as to who will do be the phoenix artist but came up with nothing so I will haft to wait. Who would you guys like to see as the artist?

I loved the first X-Men Forever series SO much. We would never have gotten it had Bob Harras stayed in power.

That whole time was so exciting to be a fan as certain things were finally possible again.

I think Jean is a little more than an "Archphoenix." If anything, that role is Hope's. Rachel is with mama.

I was thinking in the context of the parallels with Kabbalah where the Archangel Michael is said to be the greatest angelic power, second only to the creator in power, and only rivaled in power by the Fallen Archangel Lucifer.

Given that the prefix 'arch' means chief or principal, it is likely to be used by Marvel for Jean as the apex Phoenix.

God. Why can’t we get imaginative designs like this? Emma and Storm have so much fun design wise and this style reminds me completely of them. While I ain’t looking for Jean to be an exact femme fatale like them, I cannot deny there are some stylings I would not mind borrowing for Jean.

I would like to see Jean get a sexed up turn where she's not coded as "evil" wearing something akin to her HERE COMES TOMORROW look. Let the "Good Girl" give Maddie and Emma a run for their money sometimes...

I would like to see Jean get a sexed up turn where she's not coded as "evil" wearing something akin to her HERE COMES TOMORROW look. Let the "Good Girl" give Maddie and Emma a run for their money sometimes...

I could definitely see Jean in a version of this look with an Off-the-shoulder cropped top in dark green and gold Phoenix neckline (cleavage exposed as is) with gold gloves. Dark green pants with gold sash/belt detailing and gold boots with an asymetrical cut just over the knee (not as thigh-high as the original)

AIPT: Is that foreshadowing for further along in the Fall of X or something after?

HELL YES!!!! so it is confirmed that the future of Jean Grey lies indeed in the stars. We'll get an arc where she is fully cosmic again.

I really cannot wait. I feel like I'm waiting since the 1970s for this development to finally happen (*I'm not that old though lol).
