Lovely cover, but it shows they’ve gone overboard with the speedsters LOL.
Thankfully Linda and Iris were only temporary. I’m still not completely sold on Judy tbh.
But I’m really happy that Spurrier has been able to feature so many members of the family in his run. I’ve been loving the focus on Jesse. I just wish they’d remember she has a family too (and they should totally bring the OG Liberty Belle back. Killing her off-panel for no reason was such a weird decision by Adams).

At least Judy is mostly attached to her dad as a sidekick.

Jesse should just be Jesse Quick. Liberty Belle will never feel permanent for her or fit as much beyond the legacy aspect.

I wasn’t saying I wanted Jesse back as Liberty Belle. I like her as Jesse Quick. I meant that I want them to bring back her mother, Libby Lawrence. Bringing her in was the one good thing from Guggenheim’s JSA run, but then Jeremy Adams killed her off-panel for one line of forced drama.

Has he ever explained where he was going with that? Like it feels like it could maybe be used for something as it felt out of left field and only thing we gained was lonely Jay in a bar

I think this is the first issue of the run that I'm just not feeling. Everybody seems miserable. And some of the elements brought up here would fit better if it were just after Barry was brought back to life, not years and years later.

But the plot is actually interesting and very intriguing, even when I have no idea what's going on. Like that ending? I'm eager to see what's next.

Same here, Hunter needs a comeback and, as much as I love Thawne, his Finish Line ending is perfect enough for me to hope he stays on the shelf a while longer
