Doubtful, I'm not sure why it even says CoIE when Hal didn't become The Spectre until like a decade and a half later. He wasn't even in the story at all.

must be because Hal wasn't the Spectre in comic version of COIE. Comic companies take liberties with their film and animation projects like Cable and Maddy's origin story in X-Men 97

- Great Xermánico art as always, though it was a tad jarring when it switched to someone else. - It seemed odd that Hal ditched his mask when Jo still has her giant green sunglasses and Simon still has his mask. Are they really trying to be unnoticed or not? - I can see Hal running in to save Kelli rather than wait, but it ultimately came across as Hal being reckless rather than heroic. He not only fails to get Kelli, he almost gets the others killed. Hal having a conveniently deus ex machina ring immune from the Ring Hunter's tech is just dumb luck. I honestly thought that Hal was going to charge in without using his ring, thus maintaining their cover while saving their friend. That would have been better, imo. - Why is Kyle sitting in the corner like he's having a breakdown? - Once again, so what if one of the UP Corpsmen made a red axe instead of a green one? I'm still waiting for this "they can change colors" thing to actually mean something significant or feel impressive. - Thaaros is still boring to me. Was he more impressive in "Action Comics?"

Two-Six! Salaak! Kyle having an emotional breakdown! It's just nice to see Hal and Kyle together again. People in Manhunter armors acting like they're the Emperor's Imperial Guard is kind of funny. Oh hey Larfleeze! I'm glad to know he put up a fight. I guess there's no better way to show how evil Thaaros is than showing him experimenting on a kid. Then again, I don't hate Keli, I have to wonder why we're still trying to make Teen Lantern relevant. I guess this has to be connected to her gauntlet? Well, Hal didn't save Keli by acting spur of the moment, but now they know his ring might be their best chance at victory. And they got Razer back, so not a total loss. I love how they had Kevin McGuire for art so it couldn't just be a Guy story, they had to throw in Booster and Skeets. As well as those wrestling characters from Adams' Flash run. So is that actually Lobo or just another Czarnian? Do they as a race just draw space dolphins to them?
