All I wanted was to be unconditionally loved while never having to work on my flaws. Is that so much to ask?
Looks like it. So Jess loses her own son, and ends up as a mentor to a bunch of new teen heroes? Also, it seems that they're San Francisco based, so they don't overlap the "old" team. They're basically the West Coast Champions! Though Timeless had Spider-Boy with them - unlikely if they're not in New York.

If Jessica is headed back to SFO, it would be amazing if she an into some old friends there.

Another? What do you mean? Don't most of the kids just vanish because their parents aren't being used (for example Rachel Carpenter, Julia's teenage daughter. She doesn't have her own book and only guests in the other spiders', so her family isn't seen)? And the ones who have powers (like Viv Vision) are lacking a home with Champions not currently running.

That's the same thing, if the kids don't appear or aren't even mentionned when their parents are in a comic it's juste another way for Marvel to erase them.
Luke Cage never mention his daughter in his current Gang of War mini I think.
I don't think Gerry will die, they will just have a stupid reason not to use it after this arc.
Marvel's history of getting rid of kids...
spoilers:end of spoilers
Pete and MJ's kid dies at birth.
Cyclops and Maddie's son Nathan is infected with T/O virus and is sent into the future...returns as Cable but the point is that Scott doesn't need to actually be shown raising his son in real time.
Rahne and Hrimhari's son Tier is killed by Guido
Siryn and Madrox's child...after showing Siryn going through the whole pregnancy...is just a Madrox dupe who is reabsorbed by Madrox.
Johnny Storm's baby mama shows up to tell him she is pregnant...only to end the story by her jumping into the time platform and disappearing...never to be seen again.
Steve Rogers adopts child Ian Zola in Dimension Z...but Steve comes home alone leaving Ian behind only for an adult Ian to show up later because time runs differently in Dimension z
Dishonorable mention: Jean Grey's nephew and niece...died before Krakoa but should be backed up in Cerebro. You would think Jean would ask for her family be prioritized but the kids are not even mentioned.
