Looks like it could be a fun team! Two classic Avengers, two young adults, Jed Mackay finally gets to write Steve .

I wish Kate had a better costume though. Glad Hercules is back to his classic look, I really didn't like his Guardians costume.

I was kind of hoping for Clint when I first read Hawkeye was in this. The back and forth between he and Quicksilver used to be great back in the day. Love Hazmat though. I just wish Mettle was still around. My two favorite Academy members.

Yeah, that's what he's been wearing in Uncanny Avengers and the new Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver mini.

The woman in yellow is a teenager called Hazmat, real name Jennifer Takeda. She debuted in Avengers Academy and was a regular in Kelly Thompson's Captain Marvel run. Radiation powers.

Not my cup of tea honestly.

Captain America: The least interesting member of the big three IMHO.

Hercules is cool and I have no issues with him on the roster.

Pietro I like so no issue with him either.

Kate/Hawkeye: I quite frankly have no use for any of the OG Young Avengers and actively try to avoid any book featuring any of them.

Hazmat: I kinda have the same stance on her and the Avengers Academy kids that I do with the YA.

So yeah I'll still be reading/following along cause I've got a subscription to Avengers but will be glad to get back to the regular roster when bloodhunt is over.

Hazmat! Glad they are using her again. Has she ever been an official avenger? Ironic the lego avengers game did use her.

It feels like a modern take on Avengers 17, but with less interesting characters. Instead of a "kooky quartet" it's a "pathetic pentad"
