Finally, something I've been meaning to ask. What was your favorite Avengers headquarters? As someone who became a fan with the Busiek/Perez run, I'm always partial to Avengers mansion:



There was a homely aspect to it. It gave the impression that the Avengers were a family.

At the same time, I'm partial to the big A design of the mansion back during the early 90s. For me, this is pretty cool. It reminds me of one of the buildings around Bryant Park in Manhattan. Name escapes me at the moment, but yeah just a great shout out to it.

Happy 2024 to Earth's mightiest heroes the Avengers! To answer the above question my favorite headquarters of the Avengers is of course the mansion! I love Avengers mansion. It's to the Avengers what the X-Mansion is for the X-Men. Their homebase were all sorts of drama can commence.

YES! Thank you for posting these images. Yes, reading the Avengers issues from the early 90s, I saw Hydrobase and the giant A. Really enjoy both of them. The giant A Avengers Mansion reminds me of Lincoln Center:


Bringing it back though, I feel the Avengers mansion was the best base because it contributed to the personal feel among the team. Yes, there was the training room and meeting hall. But I remember the breakfast table where Jarvis would serve meals or the trophy room with the Porcupine Man's costume. There was a lot of personality in that mansion.
