I'd like to see an Avengers version of Justice League: The New Frontier mini series. Something set on an alternate Earth.

I loved this issue. We got a bit of characterisation at the start but then quickly picked up where we left off last issue. Can't wait to see how they stop Myrddin next issue...if they stop him.

Yeah me too. I was surprised at how much I liked this issue. Yes, it was similar to the Ashen Combine story. There was a lot of fighting and the Avengers "taking a stand." How they countered the Twilight Court has been done before.
But, y'know what? It was fun and exciting.

Yupp. As a lead in to the much bigger Tribulation Event, it was fun and exciting. Even if they go the cliche route and team up for the event...because heaven forfend two super teams actually talk to each other before throwing hands. I don't mind the "old switch 'em up" tactic has been used before, it shows the characters are thinking and doing. It may not be "new" storytelling but I certainly find it engaging.

It's hilarious how the closest we get to downtime in this comic is a wordless montage in the first two pages.
Ah well, I guess the action is still on-point even if "let's switch dance partners" is the most obvious fight cliche in the book, but the Twilight Court still seem interesting.
Though it's kind of funny how the Avengers also forgot one of them...
I definitely loved this issue and am happy that Jed continues to knock everything he writes out of the park. This run has been such a blessing for me and I can't wait to see what happens next.
