No offense, but in the first one, how does an old lady have a body that ripped? She looks like Aunt may with a superhero body, lol.

100 is the new 40 in Rachel's case.

I'm not sure what restarting the Phoenix will do, it doesn't seem like that much of a threat anymore. Didn't a lone inventor from Earth build a weapon to disrupt and split the Phoenix in just a few days? Even a powerful telepath (or a group of them) could just send it away. The mutants have a handful of reality warpers and power enhancers that could be a better solution. Magic vs Tech is another alternative. I'm surprised there aren't more mutants that have evolved anti-machine powers with the threat that Sentinels and Orchis have posed. Or cuteness powers similar to a Panda, so humans band together to protect them.

How far we've gone from this relationship...

That was heartbreaking when it was revealed in Uncanny. Seeing my favorite X-Family getting Butchered and Ray made a prisoner and a hound was one of the rare times I cried in a comic book.

Being reminded of those panels, for the first time it struck me as odd that Xavier exposed himself as a target in the window like that. A moment of human weakness.

Not bad at all. I think it could have used one more design passes but it's better than much of what Rachel has worn.
If we are taking this design down the road of ready to cosplay...I'm reading it as a long sleeved leotard with gold trimming around the crotch worn over long leggings with built in footwear...

How do you discern a ripped superhero body underneath an exoskeleton suit of armor?

Fun fan-art. I like it the call-back bodysuit for the most part, minus the jacket. And are those... boots up to her crotch, or... I'm confused there.

Technically the jacket is also a callback as Rachel often wore a brown leather jacket with fringe on top of her red hound outfit during Excalibur.

It's not my favorite fan art as it feels very Batman, but not bad. I don't care for the houndmarks unless she's powered up.

I really like this look. Best one since her Asgard and Excalibur looks IMHO.
