I think it's mainly the facial hair. He looks mostly like his classic self to me.

Titans Academy fans will be pleased with Speed Force #3, we have cameos from Crush, Red Arrow, Stitch, Chupacabra, Bratgirl, Megabat, Roundhouse, Bolt, and Dial H, as well as the adult Titans, Batgirl, Blue Beetle, Damian, Jackson, Teen Lantern, and Phantom Girl (from The Terrifics). New Super-Man too, but he actually makes sense. Somehow they all know Avery Ho.

Two mistakes there. One, it says Kole died in the Crisis, but neglects to mention that Aquagirl also died in that event. And two, Wally's shown as The Flash, but named as Kid Flash.

Golden Eagle and Flamebird (or Bat-Girl) are also missing. As is Gnarrk. That would round up the Titans membership right up to around issue #50 of the New Teen Titans (Donna's wedding. When, IMHO, they really should have killed off Terry Long).
