The only time Storm used an incantation in this story was to bind the creature she faced alongside Wannda.

this correct what did I miss?? this is why Wanda said her powers were potent as even without being a practicing sorceress then, she could still dispel the fog? how is this being contested when it's right there on the psnel?

Right. I wasn't talking about the binding ritual though. I was talking about her making her own Bifrost without any help. I'm guessing we're moving away from her needing to be in a specific place in order to draw energy from it to manipulate

That entire series was atrocious. Nothing made sense, everything felt rushed and the art was abysmal. Most we got from that was direct water manipulation. Nothing to move the character forward at all.

The dimensional winds Thor used against her come to mind... the only portal I recall her needing incantation to create is the Solar System sized worm hole from the Sinister timeline.

Yes...I was referring specifically to the binding spell. Her well-established mystical sight was all that was necessary for her to disperse the fog. Casting that binding was clearly a different matter that required more from her.

Gross speculations aside, I maintain...creating the Rainbow Bridge out of thin air and light should require more effort as it's not just a hard-light construct.

Not if she overcame her limitation of needing to be in a specific place in order to shape its energies to her desires, coupled with her energy sight and her being able to replicate any elemental phenomenon after observing it? It doesn't seem far fetched.

Her bringing Jupiter's atmospheric pressure to Thor comes to mind if I'm understanding you right... I believe she did something similar to contain a tactical warhead.

The portal Blowback made with Storm powers was a dimensional rift. This is far more dangerous than actually bending or manipulating time/space for a portal. A dimensional rift is tearing the boundaries between dimensions to connect them. Meanwhile, a teleporter like Magik manipulates space to move through dimensions without any effects. Someone with sheer power can tear the fabric of reality to move to other realities that may cause destruction aka a dimensional rift
