Funny bc I just read the tie-in comic and her hair actual does get a moment. spoilers:

It starts off long and midway she cuts it. She gets a similar reveal to Jubilee as Kitty got in the books except she was excited and loved it as opposed to being melodramatic. Bishop also mentions that there is something different about her...lol
