there is a data page on the astral plane and how it works. the astral plane is a reflection of the physical realm, that is ones powers as the exist in the natural world would be as it does in the astral plane, and vice versa.

As i rewatch Evolution...i always hated Storm having to be one of the adults and thus absent from many every day plots

I always liked the fact that she was an adult, mother to the team and the most powerful x-woman. That's why in most of the events she was left out, otherwise they would have had to nerf her.

That wasn't even the Astral plane that she fought those beings in. It's a shadow plane. A place where everything dark can congregate.

Your not alone I grew up watching Evolution and preferred Storm's portrayal there to WATXM... the voice, the look (especially the hair I couldn't stand that oval shaped thing) then she kept getting knocked out immediately after doing something uhh...

Mental Power - 8 (considering she's resisted the most powerful telepaths in marvel)
Strength - 2 (even though she had iron man shook physically lol)
Fighting Ability - 7
Intelligence - 6 (beyond average the way Ewing wrote her)

I mean, the stats max out at 7, so, I'd go:

Energy Projection 7(Omega)
Mental Powers 6(her power is psionic, but specialized)
Strength 3 (her physical strength is athletic, but not superhuman)
Fighting Ability 5 (advanced)
Intelligence 4(learned/gifted, but not like some sort of scientist/engineer)
