I planned to post this for Thowback Thursday in memory of Paul Neary, who was the creative force behind the early eighties revamp of Captain Britain, but time got away from me.
Neary gets a 'story' credit, though I'm unclear if that means he just wrote the dialogue, or was was also involved in coming up with the idea. I do remember it was weird that the ongoing plot stopped for a month to give us this little story (which I still love!), but now I think we can guess it was because of behind the scenes problems with Dave Thorpe being at odds with everyone else with where he wanted to take the strip.
