Rogue Appreciation 2024, sugah!

It's been an exciting week for Rogue.

We've gotten new clips from 97' and the animation looks amazing.

More relevant to CBR is the recent news of Rogue's new book! She and Gambit are gonna star in Uncanny X-Men along with Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Jubilee as well as what it sounds like new characters. They're going to New Orleans as mutant outlaws, which to me sounds perfect for these two. Very excited to see what Gail Simone and David Marquez have in store for us!

Also Rogue's costume got a tiny update, her boots are brown and the uniform has a slightly updated design. As well as a pull-up hood.

I actually like this outfit.

Only thing is, when she's not wearing the jacket the boots don't match anything else.

I think the jacket and belts look ok a different color, although I do like the 1 belt more than the 2 she has here.

Putting my suggestion that the gloves should match the boots, brown leather is a neutral so it functions that same as when the brown bomber jacket is paired with the green/yellow suit.

I actually like this outfit.

I like it too especially the hood. It really fits the whole outlaw motif we are going to get. Reminds me a lot of the AOA X-Ternals look.

I loved hearing Lenore's voice again but I am sick of the same storyline for Roguey. That moment in ep 2 with you know who was intriguing, though. Can't wait for more!

It occurs to me that the new outfit is a bit heavy for New Orleans weather! Hopefully unstable molecules (are they still a thing for costumes now?) breathe well...could get swampy. If ever Rogue needed a "bare" midriff or a mesh overlay, this would be the time.
