Default What do you want from DC in 2024!?

What would you like to see from DC (comics) in 2024!?

I'm sure it's already in the works but a new JUSTICE LEAGUE book.

Know it makes money but fewer- if any -"big events" with numerous tie-ins. It's a predictable request but one that bears repeating.

Hmm... not really sure what else...throw out your ideas!

For Jason Todd to be screwed over.
For the Young Justice to have a book and not be screwed over.
For the Legion of Superheroes to have a book and not be screwed over.

Yes. LOL. They should keep making us feel like the main DCU reality is just another alternate reality. They've done a great job so far.

Not that I would really know. I haven't read anything in DC or Marvel that was new in well over a year. When I read some of the relatively new stuff, even when I like it, I'm wondering which "reality" it's set in.

Incorporate everything from the Golden, Silver/ Bronze, Post-Crisis and Nu realities and say it all happened. In other words, I think it's way too late. Even if they said that their next reboot would absolutely, positively forever and ever be the last one, nobody would believe them or get too invested- and they would be right.

I know this isn't a reboot venting thread but I've been reading a lot of Aquaman on DC Infinite. Even when I like a recent story, I'm always wondering things like: So, Mera and Aquaman are married in this one. Will they have even met each other by the next series? Or will something else be totally rewriiten, etc.
    Power with Girl is better.

I'm all-aboard for ANY 30th anniversary celebration for Tony Harris and James Robinson's Starman/Jack Knight. Word 'round industry campfire is that something may be-a brewin' in that regard!

To stop taking characters off model. Put characters back on model. And hire people with talent.

A Young Justice book featuring: Superboy (Connor), Robin (Tim), Wonder Girl (Cassie), Impulse, Aqualad (Jackson), Miss Martian and Blue Beetle!

A Justice League book featuring: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Black Lightning, and Vixen. Maybe with some Zatanna, Atom, and Dr Light added in.

    Too much to ask for?
Done with DC. Can't handle the constant whiplash! Time to go on a hiatus!

The war of the 4 legions or whatever leading to a Legion of Super-Heroes ongoing with the retroboot Legion as the foundation.

A Freedom Fighters ongoing of the Vendetti version.

A bat team book like the New 52 version of Detective that had Azrael, Batgirl (Cassie), Batwing, Batwoman, Clayface, it rocked.

    A full editorial overhaul.

Also, the return of the "real" Legion of Super-Heroes.

What exactly does "off model" mean?
