Default The Human Rocket - Nova (Richard Rider) Appreciation 2024

    Happy new year, Nova fans!

I was hoping we'd start the year with some good news, but no such luck. He had a cameo in last weeks X-men Unlimited Infinity Comic, but he was still comatose. He wasn't even mentioned this week.

In consolation, here are some of my favourite pics.

I think this conversation seemed him up well. (He was dying at the time, hence the past tense.)

And we can't forget L'il Nova.

Rich is in Phoenix's supporting cast
    https://www.marvel.com/articles/comi...from-the-ashes
She is Jean Grey. She is Phoenix. She saves the world. She brings death. One woman, alone in space, who not only must do what no one else can: she yearns to. A desperate S.O.S. from Nova brings the Phoenix to the edge of a black hole, where hundreds of lives hang in the balance… and whatever Jean does—or fails to do—will bring darkness to the universe and haunt her in ways she can scarcely imagine…

From being the faire valoir of Worst X-Woman #2 to being the faire valoir of Worst X-Woman #1.
    Being Rich is suffering.

Storm being #2? At least he's getting used.

So do I, but I'm not counting on it.

I'm hoping he'll make at least a small appearance in Heirs of Apocalypse, since that seems to be taking place on Arrako.

Edit: Are we even sure this is Rich and not Sam Alexander?

The Marvel.com article links to Richard's wiki page, so yes.

Good to know. I was about to say that Marvel.com article on him looked pretty good, until I saw where it ended.

What are the odds that even in 2099 this is still Rich?

Cool! I just started reading Spider-man 2099 from the beginning (starting with the 1993 series), so this is good timing for me.

Given how he's been treated lately? I'd say the odds are better that it's Wolverine.
