I'm glad Madelyne is still with us, and that she now has Jean's memories of raising Nathan. Her desire for those memories should remind us that her love for her son was strong enough to pull her back to consciousness when she was the Marauders' captive. "I feel as if I've lost something..terribly, infinitely, irreplaceably precious--my Baby! ! Where's my baby!!??"
I agree with those of you who want to see Maddie forming a better relationship with Cable. My problem is, if Madelyne has accepted the Goblin Queen as part of herself, then she also needs to accept that part of herself tried to kill her own baby. I want her to face the horror of that event, come to terms with it, and (I hope) forgive herself. I want Maddie to be able to maintain a balance among her GQ self, her Anodyne self, and her just plain Madelyne self.
