Tigra and Greer are two separate personalities. The problem with The Cat series was the fact that the series should have had Gerry Conway writing the stories. The focus was placed too narrowly on the young female readers. Most of the female readers are in the Amazing Spider-Man camp. Thus, if The Cat was placed in Spider-Man's world, Greer would not had been made into Tigra. On the otherhand, Black Cat (as we know her today) would not exist.

I saw that. Odd color choice for the costume, IMHO.

Well, she got some pretty great character work in Vengeance of the Moon Knight issue 2, in my opinion.

She really isn't taking Mark's death well. It was kind of interesting to see how she views her romance life and what she thinks of it. That and what she think's of her ex's. I wasn't aware that she thought so little of her dead husband.

I'll have to read that issue. She loved her husband, but he was a control freak -- and her feelings may have changed as she matured.

Read it, but that’s the sentiment that I think was portrayed

From reading the link into Greer's introduction as the Cat, had she been placed in the pages of Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil, respectively, the character would had not be made into Tigra.

As a consequence, If Greer(The Cat) had been a reoccurring ally of Spider-Man and Daredevil, Black Cat(Felicia Hardy) as we know her today might not exist. A huge opportunity that was missed because Marvel wanted The Cat to be marketed towards female readers.
