DC really should give her a 6-12 issue mini because I'm sure it could be successful enough to warrant an ongoing.

Gotham Academy is back in session in the first part of Karl Kerschl’s thrilling three-part Batman adventure, guest-starring Maps Mizoguchi and Tristan Grey!
Kirk Langstrom, formerly Man-Bat, now clean of his serum for years, is teaching at Gotham Academy. But Man-Bat is menacing the city. Has Dr. Langstrom fallen off the wagon, or is there a deeper, far more sinister, plan afoot?
Plus, get ready for a conspiracy only Lois Lane could solve, a tale of rip-roaring adventure starring Artemis,
and a Batman Black & White tale from Dan Watters and Ricardo López Ortiz!BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #11
Tristan Grey has mutated into a terrifying new version of Man-Bat, and it’s up to Batman and Maps to save him! But, when it turns out that Tristan is not the only person who has been infected by the Man-Bat serum, it will be Batman and Maps versus an army of leather-winged monsters!
Also, Lois Lane falls deeper down the conspiracy rabbit hole, and Artemis continues her hunt!
And lastly, Batman finds himself in a folk horror nightmare courtesy of Zac Thompson and Ashley Wood in a new Batman Black & White tale that has to be seen to be believed.BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD #12
Batman and Maps have unraveled the monstrous mystery that has been terrorizing Gotham, but will they be able to stop it in time? The school bell rings as Batman's adventure at Gotham Academy reaches its stunning conclusion!
As Artemis continues her quest, Lois Lane encounters the mysterious figure behind “The Hunt”, the online challenge that has entered the real world with deadly consequences!
Last, but definitely not least—don't miss the newest installment of Batman: Black & White, drawn by one of comics' most legendary B&W artists, The Walking Dead's Charlie Adlard!
Given the right push Artemis could become more popular than Diana.
Perhaps, or at least a close second a la Harley Quinn or Red Hood Jason Tood (although he is cooling off now) to Batman. Sadly, Artemis remains inexplicably underutilized within the Wonder Mythos. She is a far more unique character than Donna or Cassie who typically come across as nothing more than Wonder Woman juniors in various adaptations rather than their own thing. A gritty badass anti-hero ginger Wonder Woman analog what's not to love?

"So you've come to the end now alive but dead inside."
Artemis does have alot going for her.
The best known member of a woefully underdeveloped tribe of middle eastern Amazons who live in a desert city.
Has a battleaxe made out of her own soul.
Is supposed to be the greatest archer of the Amazons.
Has an arsenal of delightfully absurd proportions.
Is considered such a skilled fighter that being trained by Artemis immediately establishes a character as a badass.
Is supposed to be the Amazons champion of magic?
Has an entire history that is an undeveloped canvas to be explored.
Quite alot to work with for her.
Yeah, being the most distinct personality and appearance wise from Diana definitely sets her apart from Donna and Cassie.
She's the Faith to WWs Buffy.
Characters who don't have to be held to the high standard of perfection usually become breakouts.
Indeed, I'm sometimes perplexed by why Comic Book companies push certain characters so hard while leaving other often more interesting characters to wallow in obscurity. I know he is pretty much universally hated around these parts, but I once asked my Uncle Dan DiDio the question. He answered that editorial boards will decide to push a secondary character or not when presented with a new idea by a writer, however, if they feel a given character "isn't important at all" they let the writer "play around" with said character while only exercising limited control to see if anything resonates because they do not care if the character is "damaged".
