No, but her Inhuman powers are malfunctioning so it looks like it'll be revealed soon. I expect it'll be something completely detrimental (a physical mutation which would out her secret identity, perhaps), which will result in Medusa helping her to suppress it to stabilise her Inhuman gift.

If it's revealed and not suppressed, and it's shown on covers, it'd be a spoiler, which might be why we don't know where she's landing post-Krakoa yet?

I believe the only reason she doesn't already have the light powers is due to the poor reception the MCU has had lately. It really feels like the last chapter of new mutant was suppose to start with her blocking the sentinel beam with a light barrier. Apparently She and Bruno just tanked the cliffhanger attack with no issue. I think they will continue kicking the can down the road until they feel secure with what power she will have. Probably won't be cosmetic though.

Anything cosmetic would be a reason to suppress the mutant power in favour of keeping the Inhuman powers - it'd otherwise prevent her from maintaining her secret identity. An aversion of the Discard and Draw trope.

I'm guessing Iman Vellani knew about NYX when she started work on Mutant Menace. Note the line in issue 1 about her considering switching back to her old colours. Which we now know she will be doing.
