https://agentsoffandom.com/zeb-wells-kamala-khan-death/ According to Wells and Nick Lowe it was their idea to kill her since Krakoan resurrection had already been established, as had her presence in the Spider-Man comics.

Feige may have given the order to make her a mutant, but he didn't say they had to kill her to accomplish that.

Marvel loves stunts like this for sales.

I like Khamalas character but why kill her just to bring her back as a mutant? She's an Inhuman,

Let comics be comics as in, their own thing. Because fans who only watch the MCU will not feel compelled to pick up a Marvel comic, unlike us diehards.

They definitely botched the synergy. It doesn't even look like the X-Men will be her MCU team, instead it'll be some variant of the Champions/Young Avengers.

The whole point of her convoluted death and resurrection was to make this page. At least, it was worth it.

Let's not forget her sleeping the same bed as a boy on her first day of college (technically) .

Ok, well at least they kept in that she's still an Inhuman

That was essentially summer school (though of course her reason for being there wasn't to learn). Though that fact does create a timeline problem. Kamala was supposed to be 16 when she debuted, right? We know a new school year started during Zub's Champions, specifically the school shooting issue was on the first day. If it was the summer holidays (and Dark Web was at Christmas) then another year had passed by the start of The New Mutant. Kamala should be 18, and therefore graduated from high school, at that point. But she was back at school in the first issue of Mutant Menace. Which doesn't make sense, especially since it looks like NYX will be putting her in college. All of the school scenes in Mutant Menace should've been set somewhere else.
