Default What are some pop culture things with set slots in a group/roster?

Hey, all! I'm had an idea for a card game thing, but was trying to think of/remember things which have set perameters or slots for a roster/group. I'm not talking about things like the JLA, Avengers, Fantastic Four, etc. where there seems to be no set theme for each member in the roster throughout the years. It doesn't have to be beings-- reoccurring items can count too. It's a bit convoluted/confusing, but hopefully the examples will help my explanation:

    Bill Cipher's zodiac (Gravity Falls)

Without spoiling anything, various characters fit each symbol in the circle around the triangle guy (Bill Cipher). They can fit the symbol literally or figuratively i.e. an aspect of each symbol-- such as ice being 'cool.'

    The Lantern Corps colors/rings (DC)

The various colors of the lanterns relate to different emotions/states and go to beings who seem to exemplify or at least are likely to spread those emotions/states.

    The Infinity Gems (Marvel)

While known for being a group of objects rather than wielders or team members, each gem has an assigned function and while the colors vary in each dimension, the functions are always the same six.

These are essentially the sorts of things I'm looking for. I'll list the other ones I've remembered or a friend told me of. Can you think of any others?

    1. Captain Planet Rings, Bending Tribes (Avatar: TLA/Korra), Pokemon Types, etc.- basically various elements, although I'd like to not repeat the traits/functions/embodiments/etc. so I'd likely only choose one of these.
    2. Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse- even though Death is also a Lantern Corps type, maybe I'll leave the black and white lantern rings off.
    3. Four Hogwarts Houses (Harry Potter)
    4. The Nine Main Coven System (The Owl House)
    5. Hellfire Club (Marvel)
    6. Triforces (Legend of Zelda)
    7. various pantheons (I'd have to look them up to see which are the most manageable.
    8. Seven Deadly Sins
    9. The Elements of Harmony (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic)

Are there any big ones you all can think of that I'm missing? I admittedly don't know much anime and have been out of the loop on comics lately. Any media is fine. Thank you for any help you can give! Have a happy new year, everyone!

Hopefully this counts, but how about The Twelve (A.K.A. The Strong):

Hopefully this counts, but my next choice would be The Universe of the Four Gods (四神天地):

Oooh, the Village People. At least the cop has been replaced by other singers taking over the role.

Many stories use the 4 elements motive. Avatar: The Last Airbender or the W.I.T.C.H. comics (those added a 5th power to it) for example.

Not sure if it counts since there is no definitive number, but A Song of Ice and Fire has a system of noble houses, each having their own coat of arms and motto.

Thank you so much for the new additions! I think The Village People is my favorite suggestion so far! So outside the box!

You mentioned the Fantastic Four. I've read that they're actually based on the four elements.

    Thing (Earth)
    Invisible Woman (Air)
    Human Torch (Fire)
    Mr. Fantastic (Water)

    Wow! I didn't know that. That's interesting!

Cool. I didn't think of the planets! The zodiac is fun too. I could also go with Fruits Basket's interpretation of the Chinese Zodiac.
