Yeah, the simplicity of the redesign is nice. Although, I will say that the old design was perhaps more unique.

I quite like the lighter shades of the old one, but the brow thing made him look more bird-like than bat-like IMHO.

Ok, after reading #3 of Outsiders there not being a spoilers:

room full of Batwings feels like a missed opportunity, but I understand why there wasn't. The explanation for why Luke is "never Batman" was decent enough - but doesn't quite fit when you consider that Dick Grayson has been Batman. Dick also isn't defined by pain I thought. Unless it doesn't count since Dick has only filled the role temporarily?

end of spoilers Anyways, overall it was a fun issue and the best so far IMHO.

I haven't played the Gotham Knights game, but in the current run of Outsiders he's getting along with his father just fine so far.
