Gray Morrow's art is spectacular. Probably the best art I've seen in any Zatanna solo book. Allura can be Zatanna's arch enemy. She's hot and I loved her design in this. But magic battles aren't as interesting to watch as physical one. Their fights need to be a combination of both.

If Allura summons a giant snake then Zatanna should summon a giant eagle or something to fight it and at the same time Zee and Allura should also engage in physical combat. I'm trying to make it like Naruto because Naruto has figured out how to make magic fights look cool or atleast better than two guys pointing their wands at each other.

If Zatanna's eagle loses, she might need to retreat and find other ways to defeat the snake. Thereby not nullifying the threat of a giant snake and also giving Zatanna a chance to play the underdog and overcome this problem.

Yeah we direly need a more dynamic magic battle. Ah eagle, the predator for snake, I like that. Funnily enough I think it's rare to see Zatanna use her wand in battle.

Perhaps we could establish that the snake could detect magic so Zatanna forced to use her surrounding and items to dealt with it.

I do wonder if we can link a giant dragon or snake to Zatanna "bughead" ornament

Tom King doing DC's version of House of M with Zatanna? The positives outweigh the negatives. More people got to know about Scarlet Witch because of that story. Some may hate her because of that but it bought more attention towards her and more stories.
