With Wally handling most of the action as the Flash again, I think a great role for Barry is trainer of young speedsters (many of them running around these days). By his own admission and what we've seen in the past, Wally doesn't like the mentor role and isn't good at it. On other hand, Barry is proven as a mentor (he mentored Wally, after all). I think Barry would be perfect as "Speed Force Yoda" to the youngling speedsters.

I wonder if we'll ever get a Flash animated series.
Barry Allen has done pretty well with getting 2 live action series and a movie.
After seeing Barry work together with Irey and the younger Flash Fam in the Beast World tie-in, I’d love to see Barry step back into the mentorship role!
Ten years ago I’d have said he’s a shoe-in for a Flash: TAS, but WB’s been kinda weird about cartoons lately. It’s a miracle we’ve got a Superman one now
Wally got better at it (being a parent will do that, I guess), but I'm all for your idea. A lot of the family today are young, and we haven't really seen Barry interacting with the rest of the family meaningfully since his return. It would be cool to lean on this aspect of him for a while.
