Vixen for the secret project Jacob Edgar has been teasing on Twitter the past few weeks.

That's very similar to Detroit-era JLA -- except for the braids, so based on the other characters, this seems like the story is set in the past. Honestly, I don't even care that the other characters created for the Detroit JLA are missing.

To me it's an odd coincidence that Vixen's totem, also resembles the symbol of Timber Wolf. Given his powers he could be subconsciously be linked to the totem/the Red.

Of course, this is all speculation on my part but there is evidence for the possibility.

Even worse when Timber Wolf transformed into Furball. He had the same horrible hairstyle Vixen had when she joined the JLA. That's a family connection. Lol...

Most humanoid aliens in the Legion have Terran origins. If Johns has anything to do with a new Legion series, I can see him trying to make a direct connection between the JLA and the Legion. I don't think it's necessary -- Johns overthinks the Legion. The have plenty of good characters, and I'm fine with adding some new ones. But just write good stories -- no small task in this day and age.

As Kcekada said, almost all humanoid race came from Earth (IIRC, it dealt with Mo'nel seeding planets). So Timber Wolf could be a future relative of Mari. I'm not saying he is but it's possible.

As much as I didn't enjoy Beast World...this was kind of interesting. While it added nothing to the main story and seem to be thrown together. I enjoyed the attempt by DC to gather some of their black heroes in one book.

Plus I got to see Vixen teleport.

Watching the crisis on infinite earth movie, four random men walk into Vixen's dressing room and she doesn't start throwing hands? Would've been a funny/cool scene

I assume she knew it was Clark. He was the first hero she meet.

On the other hand I was disappointed with her showing in the movie. She was highly underused and seem to be thrown in there for a female color token
