Galenthias the cat Amazon!
Oh this is a good question.
Well Hippolyta because duh, though I don't mind the current status quo where shes ascended and is only occasionally around.
Philipus is a great addition since it further fleshes out Hippolyta and gives Diana another mother figure to look up to.
Nubia I will champion until my dying breath! I adore the twin sister origin for her and I shall take on any detractors~!
Id argue Mala and Althea since one was Dianas childhood friend and the other was her teacher. Though admittedly their presence is not as important to Dianas narrative as id like to imagine.
Finally id say Magala. I adore Galenthias and she is easily my preferred Amazon sorceress. But Magala has a role that better weaves her into stories and gives her a more central and important role.
This remains one of the best (if not the best) Amazon battles within the main DCU, especially outside a WW book
We are the Dora Milaje. We are the daughters of the 18 tribes of Wakanda. We are the teeth of the Panther God. Out of 10,000 years of sweat and bloodshed and battle are we born. We are the women of this ancient land. Deadliest of the species. And our time has come!
I get so sad seeing the island sink away like that.
I hate how often the Amazons are pushed aside.
And I really miss Hippolyta.
