There was only one issue left, so that was to be expected, but the final battle is too quick.
Compared with what Ziglar does on Miles Morales, it's very disappointing.
Apart from that, it was an excellent run.

It's nice to hear they are launching another Blade series later this year.
I agree. There's such a tradeoff. Month to month, I appreciate Hill's more contained approach, cause you can be sure there will be something exciting every issue, but over an arc, it doesn't allow for as much build up, so things resolve quickly. Like we're getting damn near 10 issues of Wolverine vs. Sabertooth over in Wolverine. Feels a bit anticlimactic for the big show down between Blade and Adana be half an issue essentially.
Given that it's Hill's approach though, I actually did appreciate what he got to showcase in the fight.
I hope that the next series/mini also gets to do globe trotting and attacking various monster societies. Take advantage of the new updated powers and weapons he has access to.
Didn't realize Blood Hunt started immediately after this run. I'm excited to see how Blade gets shown in the expanded universe with his new powers. If he's carrying light bringer on him, he's a top tier threat.
That was a really enjoyable run. A shame that it ended so soon, but I'm excited to check out Blood Hunt and the rumored next Blade series.
The J-man
Blood Hunt is really good already. And damn, Blade's role is something else

I'm surprised Xarus is still loyal to his dad in this event despite turning on him in the past.
Also interesting. Looks like Dracula might not be the ultimate master mind Herr. I was wondering if that would be the final twist. Looks like he really is just trying to maintain his nation.
IIRC, ever since Xarus returned as the Shadow Colonel in War of the Vampires, he's been loyal to Dracula.
They built the nation of Vampyrsk together.
I'm hoping we see Xarus lead the Legion of the Unliving against the vampires of The Structure.
David Marquez gave them cool designs.
